We started in January and should finish in September. The piece is stitched on 28 Ct. Mad Hatter’s Tea Towel by Dames of the Needle. We will be stitching with Classic Colorworks, Gentle Art, and Week’s Dye Works overdyed threads, along with Petite Alpaca. There are numerous different colors. Lots of stitches to learn and different ways to show shading. Upside down stitching as well as regular crosses.  The proper way to stitch borders.  Different techniques to learn in the stitching world.  Sign up now as we can always get you a kit.

Want to learn what all you can do with different fibers? Here is your chance.  We are stitching on 28 Ct. Dirty Cashel with various fibers.  Petite Silk Lame, Petite Alpaca, Panache, Kreinik, Gentle Art, Caron Soie Crystale and Wildflowers, Gloriana Silk, and DMC thread. Remember we can always make you a kit.

Come join us for a “brush up” class on stitching on Aida as well as Linen fabric.  Yes, basic first but then there is always more to add.  There is always something to learn in the stitching world.  Even when we know things, perhaps we forget some.  In this class we will cover all sorts of questions and answers.  You get real smart when you think you know everything but don’t and probably can’t.  Needlework and especially heirloom needlework are always a learning process.  All supplies included with the class.
